5 Gum- React (the minty one) (there are two) (a minty one and a fruity one) (this is the minty one) (not the fruity one)

Okay, so Hannah got this gum, and when we each pulled out a stick to try it out, the gum was black. We were like “hey! I wonder if it’s like black licorice and makes your tongue and teeth all black!” which would’ve been pretty hilarious ‘cause Hannah had somewhere to be that night, but still, we braved it and tried it out. To both our disappointment and relief, our mouths remained normally colored.
Anyway.
It was okay. Nothing too special about it, actually, other than the fact that it was probably the mintiest gum I had ever put in my mouth. I was kind of cringing through the first few seconds of chewing! It died down after a bit, though, and after that it was just like any other mint gum.

5 Gum- Solstice

THIS. GUM. IS. A. LIE. It says it magically turns from hot to cold? Lies!! Blasphemy, I say! I call B.S.!
Ahem. Sorry.
Anyway, so it doesn’t turn from hot to cold, but it’s still pretty freaking good in my opinion. I mean, it starts off WAAY too sweet and minty, but if you stick it out (haha! Stick it out, stick of gum…) (sorry, enough stupid puns), it actually tastes pretty good. I mean, I guess it can be considered going from hot to cold if your definition of a “hot” tasting piece of gum is EXTREME mintiness. Hannah and I tried it together, and agreed that the big excitement over a hot-and-cold-taste sensation was a let down, but the gum itself still wasn’t all that bad. I get it every now and then just for the taste.
